Dr Chrissy Halliday
Dr Chrissy Halliday graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2006 from the University of Tasmania. She gained her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2018. After completing a Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health in 2017, Dr Halliday worked at Family Planning Tasmania and a Youth Health Clinic.
Dr Halliday will be conducting a Women’s Health Clinic providing the following services :
– IUD/Mirena insertion and removal
– Implanon insertion and removal
– Contraception counselling and administration of IUDs, Implanon, Depo Provera and the contraceptive pill – Pregnancy counselling – Antenatal care- Gynaecological consultations
– STI screening and treatment- Cervical Screening Test- Menopause management
Outside of medicine, Dr Halliday enjoys travel, trekking, and amateur pottery.
